Clinch or blood knot

This is undoubtedly the strongest knot for tying a
medium size hook to a medium size line
such as hook size 4 to 4/0 onto line size 3-15kg

Step 1. Thread the eye of the hook with the line.
Step 2. And make an extra wrap
Step 3. Then wrap the tag around the main line 3 to 5 times. The heavier the line you are using, the less number of wraps. The lighter the line, the more wraps you use
Step 4. Complete the knot by passing the tag back through the first 2 wraps you made before pulling the knot tight. The best result is achieved when the loops through the eye of the hook retain their wrapping sequence and don't spring apart.
